Blue Ribbon Campaign in Beacon Falls
Blue Ribbon Campaign

Stan Konesky, a retired, former police lieutenant whose career includes 29 years with the Branford Police Department and 13 years teaching at the State Police Academy is showing his support for law enforcement by handing out blue ribbons (see Channel Eight News article from July 22, 2016). Hanging these blue ribbons on a mail box or front door can be great way to thank and show strong appreciation to our police officers.

I, too would like to join in Stan’s goal of “seeing the whole state and nation blue”. I have received support from the First Selectmen Chris Bielik and the Beacon Fall Police Department to offer these blue ribbons to the public to display. Complimentary blue ribbons can be obtained from the Beacon Falls Library and Beacon Falls Pharmacy.

Please join us in our efforts to thank and demonstrate support for our police officers by hanging a blue ribbon on your door or mailbox. It is our hope to encourage the exemplary work the police do in keeping our community safe.

With much gratitude,
Laurie Betkoski Siraco, Beacon Falls Resident
