When Greg Dillon is assigned to a federal fugitive task force in Connecticut, he inadvertently uncovers a pattern of misconduct and falsified affidavits. After reporting his concerns to the politically connected but incompetent chief state’s attorney, the whistleblower finds himself a target of reprisal. Investigated, transferred, demoted, and threatened, Dillon hires an attorney, and–with the assistance of legendary whistleblower Frank Serpico–takes on both the state of Connecticut and the Department of Justice in federal court, resulting in an explosive verdict and a landmark federal court decision. About the Author: During the course of his 30 year law enforcement career, Dillon served as a special deputy sheriff, a police officer, an FBI special agent, and finally as a supervisory inspector in the Chief State’s Attorney’s Office, Division of Criminal Justice, CT. He graduated first in his class from the CT Police Academy and received several letters and several medals of commendation as a police officer. During his time as an FBI special agent, Dillon was assigned to the Background Investigation Squad, the Criminal Reactive Squad, the Violent Crime Squad, and the SWAT team. While an inspector, he was assigned to the Economic Crime Unit, the Fugitive Unit, The Gang & Continuing Criminal Activities Unit, the Elder Abuse Unit, and the Worker’s Compensation Fraud Unit.
