LEGAL NOTICE

TOWN OF BEACON FALLS

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2022

Please be advised that the Beacon Falls Board of Selectmen will hold a Special Town Meeting of the electors and citizens of the Town of Beacon Falls, on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, beginning at 7:00 P.M. at the Beacon Falls Beacon Hose Co. 1, 35 North Main St. Beacon Falls CT, 06403 to VOTE on the following:

Fair Rent Commission Ordinance:

1. “Shall the ordinance establishing a Fair Rent Commission for the Town of Beacon Falls be adopted?”

Project Budget transfers, ARPA revisions and additional appropriations for the 2022-2023 Fiscal Year:

1. Appropriation of up to $60,000 from Undesignated Fund Balance for Emergency Boiler Replacement for Firehouse 45.90.44.1019

2. Budget Transfers within the Capital Projects Fund for the purpose of funding Fire Department UTV project:

a. From Fire Station 2 Workout Room 45.90.90.2182 to 45.90.44.1020 UTVs, trailer and skid pumps

b. From Fire Marshal Vehicle 45.90.44.1013 to 45.90.44.1020 UTVs, trailer and skid pumps

3.Public approval of the revised ARPA Budget
