EV Station

The Town of Beacon Falls possesses one (1) Level 2 EV station with two (2) plugs located at its commuter parking lot at 107 North Main Street, directly off Exit 23 (northbound side of Route 8). Currently, the Town does not charge a fee per kWh for this service. This was funded almost entirely by a DEEP EVSE grant in 2014. This station is 1 of 8 total stations along the R8 corridor (from Bridgeport to Winsted).

You can check to see whether or not this station is in-use or available through the ChargeHub Map or the PlugShare Map. Beacon Falls' station is on a first-come first-serve basis.

*This is a Level 2 charging station - NOT a DC Fast Charge station. On average, users have reported it takes 4 hours to fully charge a vehicle.
