The Assessor’s Office is responsible for preparing the annual Grand List of both taxable and exempt property located within the Town of Beacon Falls. The Grand List is comprised of all Real Estate, Motor Vehicles, and Business Personal Property Assets.
Services provided by this office include:
- Maintenance of a records library and information center relative to real, personal, and motor vehicle inventories, including owner’s name, address, legal data and values;
- GIS Maps;
- Administration of various state and local tax relief programs for veterans, totally disabled, the blind, and elderly homeowners and renters; and
- Motor Vehicle Adjustments.
