Possibilities For Pollinators! w/ Jerry Schneider

Event Date:
Wednesday, August 10, 2022 - 1:30pm to 2:30pm

This program focuses on our local pollinators, featuring bees, bats, hummingbirds, beetles, dragonflies and and butterflies.

These important critters help pollinate our orchards, back yard gardens, and our rain forests. How do we build and habitat to help our pollinators? What time of year should we mow our fields that is most beneficial to pollinators? What about all those dandelions that first appear in the Spring? There are oceans of ways that we can increase the number of pollinators, and have fun doing it!

After the educational program, children will create pollinator tee shirts. Heavy cotton tee shirts are $4.00 (pay at the program), or kids may bring their own to make a stenciled spray-dye creation.

Registration is required. Space is limited. Call the library to RSVP or register on Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/possibilities-for-pollinators-w-jerry-schne...
