Region 16 Special Board of Education Meeting, Budget Workshops, Public Hearing & Annual District Meeting
 
The Region 16 Board of Education has scheduled the following dates for Budget Workshops to review the proposed budget for 2020/2021:
 
February 26, 2020     7:00 p.m.   District Office Regular BOE Meeting - Initial Review of Superintendent’s Budget
 
March 4, 2020      6:30 p.m.  District Office Special BOE Meeting – Budget Workshop only
 
March 11, 2020     7:00 p.m.  Woodland High School Regular BOE Meeting - Budget discussion may last up to one hour before regular business
 
March 25, 2020     7:00 p.m.  District Office Regular BOE Meeting - Budget discussion may last up to one hour before regular business
 
April 8, 2020       7:00 p.m.  Long River Middle School Regular BOE Meeting & Public Hearing     

April 8, 2020, will be the date of the Public Hearing on the 2020-2021 budget at Long River Middle School at 7:00 p.m.
 
May 4, 2020, will be the date of the Annual District Meeting on the 2020-2021 budget at Woodland Regional High School at 7:00 p.m.
 
If the proposed 2020-2021 budget does not go to referendum, voting will take place the evening of May 4th at WRHS.  If the proposed 2020-2021 budget will be voted on at a referendum, the referendum date will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2020.
