Beacon Falls Upgraded to AA+ Credit Rating!!!!!

The Town of Beacon Falls has something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving! The Town has been upgraded by S&P from a AA to a AA+ credit rating!!!!

The Town maintained its AA rating since 2016, when we were last upgraded at our last debt issue. 

This is excellent news for the Town and will save a significant amount of money for taxpayers in lower interest costs on the 2021 $6M bond issue and all future issues. The Town is now only one notch from the highest possible rating of AAA and is the highest rated Town in the valley!
