Beacon Hose Co. No. 1 News!

The Town of Beacon Falls has increased its fire apparatus with two new trucks, a 2023 Pierce Saber Pumper and a 2023 Marion Western Star Tanker. The two trucks were purchased by trading in a 1995 International Pumper, utilizing the HGAC national consortium, a cooperative purchasing program. The two vehicles were secured with a competitive five-year note. The Fire Department, the Board of Selectmen, the Board of Finance, and the Finance Department worked together to complete the transaction in 22 months; the transaction had been presented to the public in the previous annual budget and was approved by the voters.  

This state-of-the-art equipment will enable our fine volunteer firefighters to serve their mission to protect the citizens of Beacon Falls.
