Beacon Valley Road Project Update, Information and Detour Notice!

UPDATE: Beacon Valley Road will be reconstructed from the bridge (Cotton Hollow Road) to Beacon Hill Commons (the condos) beginning September 9, 2021 and extending through the end of the season, on or near November 30, 2021. Construction will resume on or near April 1st and conclude within a couple months. The work will take place on weekdays (Monday-Friday), between the hours of 7:00am - 6:00pm, unless special permission is granted otherwise based on delays due to weather. Materials for the project have already been arriving and can be seen along the side of the roadway.  Grasso Companies (and any subcontractors) will be completing reclamation, paving, installation of new bituminous curbing, driveway aprons, guiderail, storm drainage modifications, and new signs and pavement markings/lines.

During this time, Beacon Valley Road will be closed to through traffic and there will be a detour set-up on Cross Street through Naugatuck. We recommend that residents and visitors try to avoid this area if possible during construction.  The Contractor will be required to provide access to residents and emergency vehicles at all times.
