Notice of Construction Beacon Valley Bridge

The town of Beacon Falls will begin the rehabilitation of the Beacon Valley Road Bridge in the upcoming weeks. The following notice was sent to residents surrounding the construction area.

Dear Property Owner(s),
The Town of Beacon Falls would like to take this opportunity to provide information
regarding the rehabilitation of Beacon Valley Road Bridge over Beacon Hill Brook. Construction
is anticipated to begin in mid-May 2023 and conclude in Late Fall 2023. These dates are
approximate and subject to change. Proposed improvements include repair and repainting of
stone masonry, concrete encasement of arch supports, guiderail modifications, full-depth
reconstruction, paving, and new signs and pavement markings.

Your street is near the Rehabilitation program, and Beacon Valley Road bridge will be limited to
one-way traffic during construction hours. There may be limited street access during construction
projects, and alternative routes are encouraged for those who do not live on the street. The
contractor will place a temporary Laydown area (see attached map) to allow for necessary daily
equipment to be stored.

Project plans are available for inspection at the office of the Town Clerk, 10 Maple
Avenue, Beacon Falls, CT. We appreciate your patience during temporary inconveniences that
occur during construction.
