The Beacon Bee Company, Rich and Robin Pivirotto Owners and Beekeepers of Beacon Falls. Rich and Robin have been beekeepers for about 7 years. As their love and dedication for the honeybee grew, in 2019 they established Beacon Bee Company. They started out with one hive and as of the Spring of 2020 have grown their apiary to 20 hives. As Rich says, “beekeeping is not a hobby, but a full-time commitment”. Both Rich and Robin work full-time. Rich is an Operations Manager in Bridgeport and Robin is a Paralegal for a local bank. There are days when their “day jobs” may be done, but they still must put in the time for their beekeeping responsibilities. Robin says, “beekeeping doesn’t come without it’s challenges, but at the end of the day, it also comes with so many rewards”. These rewards equal keeping the bees healthy so, they can go out and pollinate various trees and flowers as well as the harvesting of delicious honey.
