Julian Thomas

Native to Connecticut, Jules Thomas is the newly appointed Chair Commissioner. As a son of a hobby horticulturist and grandson of a farmer he has spent a significant amount of his life outdoors doing various activities such as learning wildlife, and surveying land. He is an avid conservationist, experienced outdoorsman and hunter.

Being a Businessman/Huntsman, he brings his management, organizational and woodsman skills to the Commission. As an active member and instructor for the Connecticut Conservation Education Program with the D.E.E.P, he is an advocate in protecting habitat and natural resources. His focus is preservation of land and encouraging more outdoor activities for all to enjoy! 

Jules proudly calls the Town of Beacon Falls his home along with his wife, Kristie, a Scientist, and their two daughters.
